  • For individuals who lack proficiency in English, there exists an existential challenge characterized by an absolute dearth of professional opportunities, employment prospects, entrepreneurial ventures, and the means to secure personal economic and financial sustainability. In a world populated by over eight billion individuals, more than one and a half billion are English speakers, whether as their primary or secondary language. Coupled with adept knowledge of computing and, for example, Generative Artificial Intelligence, the disciplined mastery of spoken and written English, executed with precision and fluency, is of paramount importance.

  • From an early age, my European-born parents provided me with intensive private instruction in English and mathematics. My mother, Nora, implored me, as the eldest of my siblings, to adopt English as my veritable mother tongue. As a child, I readily complied, finding the language both fascinating and engaging. During my childhood, not only my parents but also nearly all my aunts and uncles were diligently committed to the study of English. I benefited from the tutelage of numerous teachers, professors, tutors, coaches, and, of course, world-class institutions, primarily from Great Britain and the United States. It was through these means that I immersed myself in comprehensive English studies, exploring every facet of this magnificent language. Incidentally, during my early childhood, my parents and extended family utilized a book and method, if memory serves, known as "Dixon 900."

  • Subsequently, from childhood through adolescence, I embarked on the study of Mechanical Engineering. For those yet unaware, the pinnacle of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics—collectively known as "STEM"—is predominantly, and with high sophistication and precision, articulated by thinkers, intellectuals, academics, professionals, university professors, and scholars with doctoral and post-doctoral degrees, precisely and unequivocally in the resplendent English language. In Venezuelan private universities committed to the transmission of English knowledge, 91% of textbooks were and remain in English. The study of these texts, predominantly from major U.S. publishers, facilitates a detailed, structured, and contextually sound comprehension of our planetary "lingua franca," which is, without a doubt, English.

  • Throughout my educational and professional life, there has been, and continues to be, no more formidable and potent tool and talent than English as a universal language. English is the foundational and most indispensable bedrock for accessing practical high-tech knowledge for myself and all interested parties. At the age of 19, I secured a full scholarship to pursue intensive English studies for a year, beginning with classes and courses to facilitate access to higher education, master's, doctoral, and post-doctoral studies in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, specifically at Queen's University and Saint Lawrence College. Access to these advanced courses required numerous English proficiency tests. In my case, all the professors remarked, "Just a moment, you want to study English, but you already speak English correctly... If you attend the classes and courses, you will be so advanced that the other students will be distracted and delayed in their language acquisition."

  • Later, while in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, I earned certifications from both Queen's University and Saint Lawrence College. Upon completing the courses at Saint Lawrence College, the "Grand Master Teacher" of English, recognizing my insatiable desire to deepen my English proficiency, encouraged me to continue taking courses designed for native English speakers in Canada, which I diligently did. I recall an advanced English course at Queen's University, with on-campus accommodation for several weeks, costing $1,000.00 Canadian dollars, taught by British English professors with extensive doctoral degrees. As I lacked the financial resources at the time, I decided to sell my Ford Mustang to fund the advanced English course at Queen's University, which proved to be a magnificent experience.

  • Subsequently, at the age of 20, I pursued studies in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, in both Mechanical Engineering Technology and Electronic Engineering Technology. There, I learned industrial design, fabricated an integrated audio and video card, and crafted a hammer using an industrial stainless steel lathe. At 22, to further enhance my English skills, I pursued a dual degree in Business Administration, specializing in General Insurance Management and General Insurance Administration, at Broward College in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, earning both diplomas.

  • As the reader can discern, English is inextricably linked to successful opportunities in business, commerce, education, technology, science, and numerous other vital fields. By the age of 24, I had acquired extensive practical experience in standard, technical, and scientific English, as well as applicable knowledge in high-tech, commerce, business, scientific education, and multidimensional disciplines.
